The Nightbird Figure appears to be fairly well articulated, and is armed with black chain-linked nunchucks. Her lavish aesthetic blends with other figures in the line such as the monstrous Quintesson assortment. Nightbird’s slender frame is limned by a graceful silver chassis. Nightbird is fitted with a purple faceplate; her only visible features are her slanted, bright yellow eyes. Nightbird was created by Doctor Fujiyama, the latter of whom requesting the mitigating presence of the Autobots during Nightbird’s official unveiling. Unfortunately for the already-pensive Fujiyama, the Decepticons infiltrated the unveiling and stole Nightbird. Later, Bombshell was employed for the task of altering Nightbird into a Decepticon warrior. Nightbird fared well against the Autobots, although this was largely due to the fact that the Autobots (having sworn an oath to the frantic Fujiyama) were afraid of damaging or destroying her. Ultimately, and much to Megatron’s chagrin, Nightbird was captured and placed into stasis.
