Yoda is outfitted with a sculpted plastic robe and is armed with a green lightsaber. This version of Yoda would correspond alternately with Yoda’s duel against Count Dooku or Yoda’s duel against Palpatine. Prior to both duels, Yoda maintained the clever affection of slow movement and age infirmity, although once the duels commenced Yoda displayed an array of superior reflexes and a flurry of Force-based acrobatics.
Yoda managed to defeat Count Dooku, although later Yoda was slightly outmatched by the newly-crowned Emperor Palpatine. Ultimately Yoda was forced to withdraw from the latter engagement, using his diminutive size as an escape advantage. With the Palpatine in power and the majority of the Jedi order annihilated, Yoda slipped away and traveled to the swamp world of Dagobah.
