The 30th Anniversary Star Wars 3.75" figures will each include a collector's coin! Darth Vader is the first figure in this new series and he comes with the first collector coin as well as a handy coin album to hold all 60 coins from the upcoming 2007 30th Anniversary set of figures. The five-panel album features an outer mural, a timeline, and additional spaces for promotional and convention coins.
During Revenge of the Sith, Anakin Skywalker finally discarded his previous teachings in favor of the Dark Side. In doing so he went almost beyond the point of no return, ambushing his former fellow Jedi and even wiping out a whole corn crop of younglings. In the wake of his impropriety, he lost a crucial fight against his former mentor and friend, Obi-Wan, was summarily dismembered and charbroiled and eventually remanded to his life-supporting cyborg prosthetics and armor. Despite all of this, however, the twisted human spark remains viable, just as does Vader’s continual manipulation of the Dark Side. Unfortunately, despite Vader’s great power, he lacks the ability to repair his own damaged body.
