This is the younger, slightly greener Obi-Wan, sporting his familiar Jedi rat’s tail and wearing his standard outfit beneath a resoundingly gigantic and expansive cloth robe. He’s been christened with a sober, serious expression---and his businesslike stance and brandished lightsaber seem to confirm that impression.
Obi-Wan was initially trained by Qui Gon, inevitably inheriting a few of Qui Gon’s non-conventional tinctures, some of which were in turn passed along by Obi-Wan to young Anakin Skywalker. Noble, honorable, and embraced by his Zen-like acceptance of all things, Obi-Wan later went on to defeat General Grievous and ultimately his former student a best friend Anakin.
