Jim Shore combines the magic of your favorite Disney characters with traditional American folk art motifs in the Disney Traditions line from Enesco. With a grouping of black and white monochromatic pieces harkening back to the early days of Disney animation, Disney Traditions presents Mickey and Minnie Mouse in their retro incarnations. Reminiscent of Mickey and Minnie's 1928 cartoon appearance in Plane Crazy, "Silver Skies" (6 1/2" tall) sends Mickey Mouse soaring into the heavens as an intrepid aviator; "Go For The Touchdown" (6" tall) captures Mickey trying to win one on the gridiron, and; Mickey and Minnie share a tender "Date Night" (6" tall) together with wire tails joined forming the shape of a heart and red hearts on the base. Each figurine is crafted of stone resin with the look of carved wood and hand-painted.
