Limited to 504 pieces, the SDCC Color Version Gremlin Bobblehead measures approximately 6” tall x 5” wide x 3” long. He is depicted tearing apart the hull on the airplane wing, and the bobblehead can be turned to a passenger’s perspective so that the Gremlin’s face can be viewed through the window. The Gremlin Bobblehead can be paired with the Bob Wilson Bobblehead (not included) to form bookends.
The episode “Nightmare at 20,000 Feet” features the Gremlin which grafts onto the wing of a plane to prey upon the plane’s mechanics. Passenger Bob Wilson, recovering from a recent nervous breakdown, spots the Gremlin through his window; however the Gremlin leaps out view whenever Wilson attempts to show the Gremlin to fellow passengers or airplane personnel. Doubting his own sanity, Wilson is finally greeted by a close-up of the Gremlin’s ghastly features, pressed against the small window. Wilson obtains a pistol, opening the window to gun the Gremlin down. He succeeds in driving the Gremlin away, saving the plane and, in the course of which, he is nearly suctioned from the aircraft. Upon landing, although Wilson is believed to have suffered another nervous breakdown, the damage to the plain inflicted by the Gremlin is revealed to be factual.
