Tired of missing releases of highly sought after collectibles that have sold out? Pre-ordering products helps you avoid these frustrations and makes the process a hassle-free and enjoyable experience!
As soon as a manufacturer announces a new item and gives us the go ahead, we will list it for presale with an expected arrival date. Presale means we are taking advanced orders for the item. It has either not been released or has not yet arrived at our warehouse. No payment is generally necessary until the item arrives at our warehouse and is ready to ship.
We make managing pre-orders simple and easy. From “My Account” you can manage all aspects of your pre-orders:
We work hard to make pre-orders convenient and flexible. For unparalleled pre-order flexibility, use our Pile of Loot which is specifically designed to work with pre-orders. For more information about the Pile of Loot, please see our Pile of Loot Guide.
Every product on pre-order lists an expected arrival date. Our product department is in constant contact with our vendors to try to obtain the most up to date information possible. Once we know something has changed, we will update our listings and the information in your account.
We would all like pre-orders to show up within the expected time frame, but unfortunately the toy industry can have delays. The expected arrival date is an estimate; there are no guarantees for exactly when pre-ordered products will arrive. No compensation can be given for pre-orders that arrive late. We don't recommend pre-ordering products as gifts or for special occasions that are time sensitive.
You can cancel most pre-orders at any time prior to their arrival at our warehouse. All of this can be done directly from “My Account”.
If you wish to cancel a pre-order that required a non-refundable down payment at the time of order placement, you will need to contact customer service to complete the cancelation. Please keep in mind that your non-refundable down payment will not be refunded.
No payment is generally necessary until the item arrives at our warehouse and is ready to ship. When you purchase a pre-order we will ask you to indicate how you would like to pay for the item. All accepted payment methods may be used to pay for pre-orders, including PayPal. We realize this may be months in advance, so you have the option to change payment methods at any time before the item arrives. Once the item arrives at the warehouse we will process your order and charge your chosen payment method.
Some expensive or custom items may require a non-refundable down payment due at the time of order placement. We purchase the item on your behalf and want to be certain you really want it before we place our order. You will have to agree to and pay the Non-Refundable down payment to place your pre-order.
If you change your mind and wish to cancel your preorder, your non-refundable down payment will not be refunded.
When possible we will send out notification that a pre-order is arriving soon. This will allow you to review your selected payment method, shipping address, and shipping method before your order is processed.
Please note we are unable to do this for all products; we are dependent on how much notification our vendors give us prior to shipping.
Due to the nature of pre-orders, pricing may sometimes change after we list the product for presale.
If the price is reduced and your item is still on pre-order, your price will be adjusted so you receive the lowest price. If we increase the price of a pre-order, your price will not change.
In some cases we may not have exact pricing from our vendors when an item is listed for presale. If this occurs, we list the estimated price on the website with an explanation that the pre-order price will be adjusted when final pricing is known.
In rare circumstances, mandatory price changes may happen to a pre-order when we receive a solicitation from a vendor with a pricing error that is out of our control. Should this happen, you are still free to cancel your pre-order at any time.
For more information about pricing please see our FAQ on pricing
Pre-order shipping fees are estimates, not the actual amount charged for shipping. We do not always know the exact weight or product dimensions at the time we list a product for pre-order.
We work hard to fill every pre-order we take, but occasionally a situation may be out of our control. If we cannot fill your pre-order, we will cancel it and notify you immediately. No compensation will be given for the inconvenience.
When we offer BBTS Package Grading options on pre-orders we conservatively estimate the quantity of each grade we will recieve in an effort to fill all pre-orders with the grade ordered.
If we are unable to send you the grade you ordered we will automatically downgrade you to the next best grade available and charge you accordingly. If you are unhappy with the product you receive you may return it to us following the guidelines in our Return Policy.
While the vast majority of customers use our pre-order system as intended there are the few that abuse the system by pre-ordering many products they never intend to purchase. If we determine a customer is abusing the system, we may require a non-refundable down payment or full payment for every pre-order placed by that customer.
When placing your order you have the option to ship pre-orders as they become available or add them to your Pile of Loot. The Pile of Loot allows you to consolidate your shipments and save money. For more info on the Pile of Loot, please see the Pile of Loot Guide.
We use a complex algorithm to determine the order in which pre-orders are processed. One of the most important factors is the order in which pre-orders are placed. We take other elements into consideration so that if any issues arise, such as supply shortage, shipping damage, manufacturer delays, or grading issues, we can service as many customers in the fairest way possible.
We do not offer an option to pay for pre-orders in advance.
Yes! Just add your PayPal account to your BBTS account wallet so that you are able to select PayPal as your payment method.
You can cancel most all pre-orders anytime before payment is due. For more information see our Cancellation Policy.
If you requested that your item(s) ship immediately upon arrival, we process and ship orders to meet the stated delivery time associated with your shipment. You can see this delivery time by looking at the details of a shipment in "My Account".
If you requested your item be sent to your Pile of Loot upon arrival, you item will not ship until you release them or reach the maximum Pile of Loot hold time. Please see our Pile of Loot Guide.
We value our vendor relationships and respect their listing restrictions. There can be specific time frames during which they allow a product to be solicited for pre-order. Some online retailers may not have a direct relationship with the vendor or may simply choose to ignore the vendor restrictions.
Other online and conventional retail stores can be located anywhere in the world. Location and method of transport affect when a store will receive merchandise, but most stores typically receive merchandise within the same general time frame.
